Sunken eyes Gaping Bloody Prolapse

Dan, I so hate to hear that you lost the male. That is so sad. You have my deepest condolences. Let me know when you are ready for another Cham. I have people offer me panthers and veileds all the time and although I can't take them myself, I try to help them find a good home for their pet.

I'm going all out before I try again and I figure it will take about a year (hopefully less depending mostly on finances) before I have everything ready.

There are too many variables with my set-up where it is now. I have a well insulated room that is currently housing foster cats waiting for homes. (Adult cats are very hard to re-home). I can easily get the room it's own temperature and humidity controls as well as better control light pollution etc etc...

I also need to make sure I have a vet fund set aside, not that it would have made a difference in this case, even if I jumped on the fecal the results would not have come until it was too late (assuming there was even a parasite issue).

There are a lot of things I need to change before I bring another chameleon home. For now my frogs will be happy for the extra attention.

I'm sorry you lost your male! That is so unfortunate. I would still contact the breeder if you haven't yet. Definitely use some hydrogen peroxide on the cages and/or steam clean them really well!

I will bleach, peroxide, and steam everything before anything else comes to live in it.

I contacted the seller and even sent a link to this thread. No reply at all. Admittedly I haven't tried very hard just an e-mail. I am not looking for money back or replacements I really just want answers and am confident I will eventually get them one way or another.

same symptoms with my female ambilobe.

I am having the same symptoms with my female. I brought her to the vet and I got medication for her. She is still going down hill... I think I may loose her. She has a sutcher and has eatin a little bit. She is still very dehydrated and weak. If anyone has any recomendations on what I should do to help her I would greatly appreciate it. I could never forgive my self I'd she passed and I could have done somthing else. So any help would be appreciated greatly.
