sucking tummy in?

Bit of a werid one but here it goes...

I've had my cham for two years, no health issues and he does not get stressed easily. A few times in the last couple of weeks (for no obvious apparent reason) my cham would go really dark, nearly black and suck his stomach in to make himself look REALLY skinny, and shake a bit.

Is this him being stressed, like when they are defensive they try to make themselves look as big as possible?

I'd never noticed him do this before (until recently) and he seems to be in good health, eating, sleeping etc fine.

Sorry for rambling on, any advice would be much appreciated! :)

LOL, you must have told him something really really bad :D When he gets dark, he is angry and when he is "swinging" from one side to another he can either be angry or trying to be a leaf in the wind :)
This is what my veiled did when he saw himself in a mirror. And as it didn't work, he made himself big and colorful then :)

I wonder what I could have done to offend him lol.

Good to know this is just normal - Just a bit out a character, as he is normally so chilled. Something must be stressing him then, not sure what though. Maybe he's just getting grumpy in his old age

Sounds like he's not happy about something! Did you make a sudden movement or change something in the room? Amy was 'sunbathing' outside today and I peered in the cage and instantly she sucked everything back in cos I made her jump! Lily was even better at sucking everything in, lol! She managed to suck her belly right in even when she had a bellyful of over 100 eggs! Quite something - I wish I could do that!:p:D

Sorry for the late reply, I've not been well over the weekend so was confined to my bed. I think I must have just made him jump or something, as he has not done it again since I posted. Just me being the typical cham mum and worrying over nothing
