Stupid question

Ok, we are new to this forum, and cham loving. I have a very stupid question:
Everyone has "1.0 / 2.3 / etc......."breed" chams in their signatures/profiles.

What exactly does the 1.0 / 1.2, etc... mean??? Is it a ratio of male / female?

Sorry for the silly question, but I have been wondering this.

yes 1.0 is one male 0 females, or 3.6 would be 3 males and 6 females.

... and if you see three numbers: 2.3.6 (for example) the last ones are of undetermined sex. So: 2 males, 3 females, 6 unknown.

Not a dumb question. Many have asked
