It's been awhile since I've taken any photos of Herbie. Today I came home right around bed time and he was showing the most greens and blues I've seen yet. He was quite sleepy and wasn't impressed by pictures. He just finished a shed the other day and is looking fine :) Thank you Seeco, thank god you didn't keep him ;)

And here are crappy phone pics. They barely show the vibrance in his colors but he's definitely much greener! His crown is mostly blue with some greens and a little purple.

Oh wow. Very nice. Too bad they are just phone pics but it even looks like he has grown a bit (or at least his head looks huge!)

Thank you :) His horns are perfect, well he's just perfect. I wish I would've had my camera but I hadn't anticipated seeing him. Usually he's at his sleeping spot (glowing green) which happens to be in the middle of his plant quite hidden. Today he decided to change things up so I had to snap whatever pics I could.

I just checked back on him (camera in tow) and he went to his sleeping spot...he just gave me a small window to take pics and was already asleep. I love him too much, damn cham.

Hmm this looks like a KCK-fest

i need to get back into this species. i love their temperment and simpson like mouths. every fischers i can across was never aggresive and my guy leo only snapped at me once when he was about to pass away. I tried picking him up and putting him back up into the top of his cage when he was laying on the bottom of his cage. I miss that little guy so much he was so friendly.

I can't remember exactly right now but he it at least 1.5 years old. That said my chams grow pretty slow once they spend a winter outside so don't use Herbie as your ruler. Here is his dad. Look closely at the extremeness of all his crests and such. Sorry the horns got cut off:

Dad is so handsome - love his blue toes! Mine were kept outside before I got them. They are indoors now. What is an average size for them? I just weighed mine and he is 53.1 grams and she is 22.3 grams. She is so petite.

I think Trogdor has a pretty good sized crest. He has filled out quite a bit since I got him. He's a challenge to photograph as he's on the free range and very active.

Yours were kept outside? Man I am getting more curious about where they came from!

Drug involved neighbor never returned my scale so I have no idea at all what they weigh!

He had other chameleons too and I think he kept them all outside. I wish I knew too. I though he said he got them from a guy he knew but I can't remember exactly.
