So 1 of my panthers has this white stuff coming out of his nostril but only one of his nostrils and he has not eatin anything for the past two days , he has just finished shedding and this white stuff has bin coming out for 3 days it was never gradually coming out it just appeared there the day after the shed I know it is not skin because it would have come off by now and even when he finished shedding it was not there and it wasn't till the next day that it was there and it hasn't come of or gone away so I think it is some kind of discharge. What is happening ??????????

It's because you over-supplemented him. Try and cut down a bit on your dusting of the feeders. It should help! Maybe give him a shower and it will wash off.

It is extra salt being excreted through a nasal salt gland. It's mostly sodium with only a tiny bit of calcium. It's totally harmless but if it bothers you I'd consider a different water source as a lot of city water sources are high in sodium.

yes so he is still not eating and he ate 1 cricket today again

he is too big for his cage at the time but i will be moving him tomorrow could his cage size play a factor in this????

The white stuff is--as has been said--not really an issue.

A cage that's too small can be a big problem. Perhaps you should fill out the How To Ask For Help form so the experts can give you some advice?

He's hitting an age where they don't eat as much, so that's possibly part of the issue.

He's a lovely animal.
