Stressed colors..

My new veiled is about 2 months old.. I have him in a little screen cage that sits on my nightstand, it's full of foliage, yet I always see him on the ground.. And he's always brown.. Is that normal for babies?

not normal for a chameleon of any age. you will need to post a picture of him, as well as the enclosure.

He might just be playing, Pascal (my veiled does that all the time. I don't know why he's so dark though.

He turns bright green as soon as I take him out, and he eats good..
