Strange behavior

The other day when I hand fed my Cham, he ate the cricket right out of my hand, but today I tried to hand feed a mealworm, he puffed up, hissed at me, and tried to bite me, anyone have a guess at what's going on?

Maybe you got too close this time, or moved too fast? Really though, it's impossible to say........they can be temperamental for no apparent reason

Yes, he has eaten them before, and only a couple, and when I put it on the side of the cage, he went right for it.

I'd have to agree with David. Maybe you moved too fast or something. Maybe he's just being grumpy. Theres no real way to tell.

Were you wearing something bright that he may not have liked? They can be funny with colours! My friend visited a while ago and she was wearing a chameleon t shirt and Tommy showed his dislike and puffed up at her!
