Awww...so cute. He looks like a little kid who got caught getting into something he shouldn't have. :p

i agree!!! has Spartacus shed since you got him?
i saw that some of the other L&C babies had/were shedding but Stanley hadn't since i got him, till last night..

Looks like a gazed donut where the glazing has dried and is cracking, poor fellow!

yeah he does... it's so hard for me not to reach in and try to "help" him out but, i hear you're not supposed to pull at the shedding skin.... he'll have to do it on his on i guess... :)

I had found some evidence of shed on Spartacus' plants this past week, but it must've happened quickly because I never saw him in his shed mode. I plan on taking some pictures this weekend to post, as his pattern is really starting to emerge. He is so cute!!! :p

I just don't think Stanley could look any cuter. Shedding chams are adorable, Stanley will do his shedding by himself. Helping him could actually hurt him.

My little pepper hasn't shed yet, he is all over his cage, one active guy. I love watching him motor all over the place.:D

i know you're right but, it's so hard not to lend a "helping hand"...

i'm flaking myself due to excessive sun exposure last weekend, went boating, and i'm itching, it feels soo good to have it scratched/peeled ... ;)

Lisa, I know what you mean about wanting to help him out. Luca had a piece around his eye turret that seem to be driving him nutty. I felt so bad for him, but knew I just had to let nature take its course, but I did mist him alot that day to help him out.

I know, and you know, and we all know, that we have to let nature take it's course in their shedding - but no one told my vet! He can't resist peeling a shedding cham; to be fair, no harm has ever come when he's done so...

i gave him lots of extra mistings today with some warm water and now it's all but gone.. he must of been doing a lot of rubbing .. :)

you can't imagine how hard it was for me to "not touch"!!!! i wanted to sooooo bad!!!! :D

Stanley is looking great Lisa! I'm hoping Perry sheds within the next few days! :)

he probably will. be sure to take a pic or two. theyre so funny looking when they do shed and it happens almost overnight. the night before i noticed 3 small white places on Stanleys back. they next morning this is what i saw and by late afternoon he had rubbed it all off... :)
