First of all...I didn't intend to criticize you...I'm just trying to help you. I feel bad because now that I have gone back and read some of your threads I realize that your chameleon has had calcium issues for quite a while...but because you made every question a separate one, I never put 2 and 2 together until now.
The lack of eating, the flexibility, the tongue issues you mentioned in different posts and a number of other things when put together would have led me to discuss MBD. To stop further damage IMHO you need to get this corrected ASAP.
The quickest way to correct this is to take it to the vet and get injections of calcium until the blood levels are high enough to give it a shot of calcitonin which rapidly draws the calcium back into the bones.
In the meantime, providing it with sunshine and UVB will help as will giving is some liquid calcium sandoz or calcium gluconate (which is absorbed quicker than the powders). You can also make sure that your temperatures are good to aid in digestion and improve your gutloading.
Once the calcium is back in line, you will need to make sure you supplement properly, etc. to keep things in balance.
Calcium, phos., D3 and vitamin A are all important players in bone health and they need to be in balance. You need to look for those nutrients in your supplements and in what you feed the insects and what you feed the chameleon.
You said you are giving it vitamins...do they have prEformed vitamin A in them??
IMHO the weird grasping of its own legs happens because when there is a calcium balance the bones are flexible and the muscles might pull them more than normal and unevenly so the feet don't go where they should go. Also, calcium affects muscles and may be making them react abnormally. I'm not a vet so this is just my own opinion.
Good luck!
