Stacking Two Cages?

Has anyone ever stacked 2) 18x18x36" Alum screen cages and made 1 18x18x72"? I just ordered a 2'x2'x4' for Fonzie, this morning. I will have 2 18"x18"x36" cages not in use. I have sun cages already, so Im kinda wanting to try it and see how it turns out. It seams simple enough, remove the top screen itself from the lower cage, and fasten the two together with ss screws. I have a 5.5' ficus that would fit perfectly inside it too. The cage will have 2 doors, does that classify it as a "Coupe"??:D:D

cant you just turn one upsidedown so ur not destroying it? or will that not work?

Good kill rocket scientest....

Better yet, switch the open bottom with the top so both doors open the same way.....Ahhh Haaa... Now thats using your noodle! I gotta be careful, I get an idea and I become dangerous....:p

I've done this.
It's very simple, top off one ... bottom off the other.
I wired them together through the screw holes.
That way if you want two cages again (as I have gone back to) it's a piece of cake to disassemble.

Good deal, glad this has successfully been done before. I have a ficus tree I have been trying to use for some time and it will fit like a glove in that cage. I will post pictures once its complete.

So do you really want your chams to "look down" on you?

It was a joke with Sabrina, I'm not really going to make a 20' tall cage.:D That would be pretty neat though.

I am taking the phone booth outside for a sun cage, and doing some rearanging. The cage situation will be:

Osang (female Veiled) Alum-screen 18"x18"x72"
Fonzie (Male Ambilobe) Alum-screen 24"x24"x48"
Sadie (female Ambilobe) Alum-screen 18"x18"x36"

1) 30"x30"x72" Flexarium sun cage, 2) Alum-screen 18"x18x36" sun cages.

I will have an extra premium nozzle and an extra 18"x18x"36" Alum-screen cage Laurie...hint...hint....:D
