Squee 2nd LOVES his dripper cap :)

A member thought of this wonderful idea of placing a bottle cap, with a
fake leaf hot glued in it, to catch the water from the dripper.
The droplets hit the top of the leaf, and flow down into the cap, creating
a little pool.
When the cap it full, water cascades down like a mini water fall.

Anyway, 5 month old Squee 2nd absolutely LOVES this contraption!!

The first day I set it up, he was so excited!!

He guarded it all day, and even slept next to it.

He will sit there and watch it with total fascination, occasionaly taking a few
licks.
Sometimes he will put a foot on the cap as though to protect it from flying
away!!

I forget who's idea this was, but I PM'd her.
Please take a bow if you see this and claim proper creadit :D

Here is a pic of Squee 2nd admiring his dripper cap:

to cute ! mine don't get quite that excited - :p but they do love them - just dont forget to flip it at night so it can dry - it was me, and my paranoia that started these - I was afraid the water would run off faster than they could get a drink outside- so ALL know this as a water source - same w/ their food cups :) that way I can put anyone out in any f/r, and they still know where to get the water ;) glad you little guy loves it :D

here is the link on how to make them =) - https://www.chameleonforums.com/welcome-home-max-but-fed-x-you-stink-114069/

I use Blu-tak, to stick the cap to the branch.
So its easy to pop it off and let it dry out.
Or, when I am lazy (too often these daze!!) I use a irrigation bulb to suck the water out of it, when dry it with a paper towel.

Was this your invention??

Not all my guyz are over impressed, or even take any notice, it's just little
Squee who does :)

Yes, I had Squee Sr for about a year and he passed away.
I haven't exactly gotten over it yet.
Yes, he was from Kammer's, and cost $450. or $505 with the shipping!!

But it's not about the money, he was a 'special needs' little friend, and
he was so trusting and never complained about being hand fed.

I really miss my little red boy :(

So I passed the name on to my Noki boy from Komeleons.
