Spoiled Cham only wants to be hand fed

As charming as this is, Munch needs to hunt and feed himself, I believe. Will he get hungry enough to eat without me having to hand fed him?

Mine have always had crickets fed in a cup and everything else hand fed, apart form roaches. I love to hand feed as it's a positive interaction with them on a daily basis, although I can see it would be a problem if you ever wanted to go away and had to have a pet sitter.

He has become lazy cus he knows that whn u open that door that u goin to give him food stright to his
Mouth wit out havin to hunt i found that if u just chuck crickets in so he has to hunt n if u hand feed him then make him come to u n dont just let him have it then we mite ween off a bit n not just hand feed hope this helps

Because he totally ignores the crickets or worms I put in his feeder cup or on the floor of his cage.
