After having much difficulties laying her eggs, I had my 1 year old female veiled chameleon, Kyra, spade. It turns out she had an infected ovary that was killing off the eggs (many of them were dead and filled with pus). Knowing this, I am very happy I went through with the surgery and she is currently on antibiotics and painkillers.
The surgery took place last monday, but today when I went in to feed her there was a huge hole at the bottom of the cage!
Does anybody know why she would be digging? Is she just confused? Are there any other symptoms I should look for/be concerned about?
