I'm not sure if this is retained skin from previous sheds or from my water being a little bit to hard but my veiled has like very pale white on him like his skin hasn't fully pealed off or as if I have sprayed him with hard water (you know that look you get when you mist a glass tank and after it dries you see the droplets stained the glass) well, i'm not quite sure what to do. I will try to get a pic but not sure if it will show that well.

He's also due for an upgrade of enclosure. Hes about a year old now and hes in a 38gal flexarium. I keep banging onto the guy about making my 24"x24"x48" aluminium screen enclosure but he said the person who makes them is in the U.S atm lol (funnily enough). and wont be back til november. The 38gal is 16.5"x16.5"x30"

i know with snakes, and some variety of monitors i have done warm water soaks, and just let them sit in it. it helps there skin out ALOT.. but i don't know about chams.

My guy sheds in sections. His tail never sheds as much as the rest of his body. His tails a cloudy color now. When he was young he'd have big sheds all over but after about a year old he started doing this shedding in different areas.

Sometimes adult Veileds never stop shedding.
It usually happens around the one year mark, but can sometimes happen sooner.
Veileds rarely have the explosive sheds after 8 months of age.
Humidity hasn't helped make it any easier for them.
I've had one of my adult veileds outside for months in Florida humidity.
He still sheds almost exactly the same way, bits and pieces at a time for weeks on end.
