We've finally had some great weather here in KY. So I've been taking Loki outside every day from 3-6 PM. He loves it, and I honestly think I love it more. I don't get much sun myself. It's nice to sit outside in a tank top with my boy, mist his cage, read a magazine, and eat lunch. I'm so glad I ordered his new cage. I have everything nice and secured, so all I have to do is pick it up and set it outside. I have a mister, but decided to not hook it up and just mist him myself. It's less of a hassle than putting it together and taking it apart every day.
Loki brightens straight up when he gets outside. Right now Kentucky's humidity isn't too great. It's been unbearable the past few summers, so I'm not sure why we don't have any right now. And by unbearable, I mean you can't tell if you're sweating or if it's the humidity the second you walk out the door. Ladies.. don't even bother doing your hair. Waste of time. Yeah, it blows. But I guess once summer really hits the humidity will too. I have to mist his cage seriously like every 5 minutes. I can't get it past 60% in the house either. But we're working on that and it's not too big of a deal right now. Anyways.. I'll quit babbling and just post the dang pics already. So here they are.
And for the grand finale..
I LOVE those last four pics! It's hard to tell what the pictures look like when you're taking them with the sun glaring. I didn't know if I was even getting him in the shot. So it was an awesome surprise when I went in the shade and saw what I'd actually taken.
I had to be stealth about it and wait until he was going for a cricket so he wouldn't get ticked off. As you see in the last pic, he found me out after he ate the cricket. Haha. I left him alone after that. These were all taken with an iPhone by the way. They take 10x better photos outside. But I just wanted to share. Have a good day everyone.
