so to everyone that wondering if there uv light is working

if you have a live plant in the cage and it's dieing rapidly..it means that the light is not strong enounght for the plant to live ...which mean its not enought for your your cammy to live!!!! :eek:

ever since i changed my uvb bulb for the hibiscus bush it my cammy cage its leave are not turning yellow its actually growing in stead of dieing...like the others...well really i make surei water it a lot more...i now put the supers in a cup instead of letting them go free in the caGE...THEY WOULD end up digging in the dirt of the plant maybe they were killing the plant???!!
...i mean live plants need somesort of rays to live!!!
 
UV bulbs also emit visible spectrum. I won't bother going into a detailed scientific explanation, but using your plants as a basis to judge your UV output is 100% incorrect.


Most plants will grow quite strongly using nothing but daylight spectrum bulbs (which output 0 uv).
