So can chameleons change sex??

So can chameleons change sex?? this was my question.. and this is what i am asking of you..

i can tell you a tale you may not believe.. but it is true in a such... when i paid and purchased for a male panther chameleon.. he arrived in the box on time and with everyhting all intack... you know i was pleased at the time on how easy it had all been.. but anyway.. i will attack some pictures now.. and you can see for yourself..

it looks like a cute little female to me, it could have been a mix-up from the breeder, i would contact them and let them know if you really want a male. Theres noting wrong with females though
 
yes, it looks like you got a female. When they are young, sometimes it may be hard to distinguish between a male and female.
They don't change sexes. As they develop, mature and develop their adult coloration, then you know for sure what you have.
 
Not so much a sex change as a mix up with the breeder. Let them know, you should get what you paid for.

Unfortunately, it does look like they sent you a female. Definitely contact them because males cost more then females and you definitely want to get your money's worth
 
wow that looks just like the panther I got, I asked for a male and got a female pretty much identical to yours
 
Welcome to the group. looks like you have the same issues there we have here, several people have bought males and received females or bought females and received males. I would decide if the sex matters to you and if it does contact the place you bought it and see what they will do for you. Hope it works out well.
