Snail overload!!!

I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong!) that he bought them from "snails in the mail" since he has 3 (they had an order 2 and receive one free kind of thing) But on their site it says ..

We are currently closed due to our company needing to further explore local county laws for several of our major distribution cities.

There is another site that sells them but you need a permit to buy them (and they're super cheap the site!.. If you get a permit) Its called nilesbio

Eating feeders is a bit….disturbing….What's next, silks butters, horns? People, control yourselves!
Snails are the gateway feeder to the dark side.;)

Correct :)
They gave me a free one :)
They were delivered, packed in a clear plastic deli cup with a damp paper towel, fast service too, and I asked the snail guy about separating the babies from the adults to contain any possible parasites. He told me that is not necessary because the snail are clean. They come from a organic snail farm in California, and meet the health requirements for eating them.

I only separate the babies because it's easier to maintain and clean.

But you don't have to separate them.
When the babies hatch, they ride around on the backs of the adults :D
It's kind of cool to watch them :)

So, now I see from their website that they are not shipping any snails until they get some permit problems fixed.
So, it looks like they ran into a bit of trouble shipping to some states.
I'm sure it's just a paperwork technicality and that they will be back to shipping them soon.

That's a shame. I hope they get everything sorted out and can start selling again soon. Ferdinand just LOVES his snails. I had originally started the paperwork for my FDA agriculture pest permit... Folks at the FDA had never processed one before and had no clue who to even ask about it.
