Smelly poop

Hi guys,
for the past 2 days my veiled cham's poop smells real bad, though it looks fine as usual, dark brown and solid, urate's also fine.. I've read about stinky poop being a sign of parasites, but he's alone in his cage and eats the usual stuff: crickets, occasionally roaches, superworms and mealworms. Though last time I had to buy crickets from different place and wondering if there's something wrong with them and that's why cham's poop became stinky.. Also he began to shed 3 days ago and once while eating crickets he also ate part of his skin around the mouth, is that ok?
Apart from this he's doing fine, haven't noticed any other changes..

The one part I can help with is that they do eat their shed, as much as they can, its normal. I think i read around here that in the wild they eat their shed so that they dont leave a trail for predators.

Thanks for the reply! So shed's not the reason of feces change, but there must be something.. I mean is it 100% cos of parasites or there can be any other reasons? Anyone?

Best to get a fecal test done by an experienced reptile vet to rule out parasites.

If the feces looks normal but smells, it is most likely parasites. Either way, a fecal test is the only way to confirm this before medicating the chameleon.

That's a bit of a problem, to find an experienced reptile vet in my city :/ But I'll try to do my best, thanks for the tip!
