thank you. I purchased it unsexed from a beginning breeder. Was hoping it was a male because of the vibrant turquoise but someone here told me it was female ( still hoping it was sexed wrong lol).

Can't really sex base of tiny hints of color like that sadly :( but hey if you could snap a picture of the base of its tail I'm sure numerous people could help you out with its sex :)

Sometimes I end up learning the hard way lol. Either way i cant wait to see the little guy/girl grow. that is one awesome female in that link, i will be so happy if mine shows color like that. when i look at the base of the tail, i see no bulge but i have no experience sexing. i will take pictures right now and post them up in a few minutes.. thank you all

They are both beautiful little chams u got there i have no experience from sexing chams just what i have read on here that other advise so i wouldnt like to say, will let some experienced people butt in now! :D they are so gorgeous though!!!

I could help you sex them..... However I'm no expert do you should get multiple opinions. If ou can take a picture similar to this One the ability to accurately sex your little chams will be alot easier :D it would also be way more accurate if you were to look for the bulge yourself since you can see the bulge or no bulge in person instead of a picture. The 2nd Cham is definitely a female there is no visible bulge at all and there is no space for it to grow into. The 1st one however looks like it has the possibility to be a male but I'm leaning more towards female at this point.

The second one is a female. I would say the first is a female, but the angles are a little weird.

Id say male and female. The first one is showing too much color i think to be a female. jmo.

Thats exactly what i thought but people say never to rely on color. i really hope the first one is a male though. would start the year off right if it was. happy new year to everyone on here!

If you post more pictures with the tail base in it, we can give you definitive answer. Try to take them directly from the side. The ones you posted are from above a little bit so they are showing the tail from an angle so its not quite as easy to see. Never judge by color alone, like said before. I've seen photos of a proven female who had colors that I could only dream of on a male.

Was finally able to get good shots of the tail base. hope these make the sexing unanimous. i appreciate all the help!

I am pretty sure they are both girls as well. About 4 months old. The first one will lose green color in a few months.
