Whats the light schedule you have right now? Do you know the schedule from where you got him from? I know the cage lights are off, but is it bright where he is located?

i do not know the light schedule from where i got him from. i got him today but my schedule will be 6:30 am- 6:30 pm lights on (12 hours on 12 hours off). it’s pitch black in the room he is in.

I would say check back on him in a hour and if he's still not asleep there might be a problem or he just had a different schedule at wherever you got him from

Probably trying to find a place to sleep without some big scary giant looking in on him every hour.
I think it's probably just some relocation stress; trying to figure out his surroundings in case he has to get up in the middle of the night and not trip over a tree or something... :ROFLMAO:

Let the poor guy sleep!
