Sleeping upside down…seriously why? XD

My 6 month old jackson chameleon just started shedding today. Now he never really sleeps on the ceiling. He has two or three main sleeping spots, but almost always (even in the summer) it is usually pretty up high on the branches or semi-high or just on the vine that is right at the middle height, rarely any lower. But today is the first time he's done this in a while. I just gave him one more misting and some water right before the lights turned off. I remember where he was on a branch. A minute after the lights turned off I heard some rustling around in the leaves (not violently or anything but the sound it would make with a chameleon crawling) and just figured he was getting to his favored resting spot. When I came back into my room a few hours later I saw him sleeping on the ceiling hanging upside down. XD there is no draft there so the only thing I could think of is maybe he wants the skin to fall off of him to the ground? Interestingly it would fall at the same spot where he seems to prefer to leave his fecal matter…I don't know though, what do you think?

Lol Chameleons do the weirdest things sometimes :D

Maybe he thought he'd try a new method to see if he'd shed faster upside down.

Scientist Chameleon. >:3

Maybe I have a genius chameleon…I hope he likes me then as often as he stares at me. XD

One of three month olds can tear down and rebuild a hemi in six hours. Just saying. :D

A 6 month old chameleon can type this message to you and also tear apart and build a solar powered engine from scratch. And write chinese instructions for it. (Yes I, Tricky am typing this while the human is doing who know what)

P.S. Small arms, takes a while to respond.

lol u guys...

Once in a blue moon mine sleep in really awkward positions as well. When my Panther was younger - I caught him sleeping upside down as well. They do what they want...logical or not!
