Hi my panther is little over four months he's been eating and getting misted on a regular basis he's in the medium size cage he usualy sleeps high in the same spot he even goes to sleep at 7 buy him self. But the other day he ventured low on a plant and slept on the plant at the bottom of the enclosure not sure if it's anything to worry about or if it's normal. Any insight would be great. Thanks.

As long as he stay active during the day, it shouldn't be problem. Mine have 3-4 different location to sleep from top corner to almost bottom of the cage. I hope this help

He may just have decided it's cooler down there or feels more secure down there.
As long as he is on his branch and behaves normal throughout the day I'd not worry about it to much.

The positions and places I have seen my chams sleep in... They are silly in their own way.

Lol ok great news thanks for the reply yea he acts the same during the day he's active and eating. He goes to the spot early before the heat lamp goes off so sounds like your right. Thanks.
