Sleeping and Lighting

Is it alright to have the ceiling light on when my cham is asleep, it is fairly dark in his cage. Just wondering if i should maybe get some sort of divider to block light if there on at night.

There seems to be mixed views on this one. My chams settle in every night at the same time if there is light on or not. Though i have timed their UVB and Basking lights to match them. Having the other light on in the loft seems not to bother them at all. Though i must say it is a very low activity area and that light isn't on very often.

If you're at all concerned, just cover the cage with a big beach towel. I do it for mine because they are in the room with the computer and there's a lot of after dark activity.

I have my ceiling light on sometimes when they sleep. It doesn't seem to bother my bunch of chams at all. There in a deep sleep. The lights on the top of the cage block out the ceiling light and I put a huge peice of a cardboard box in front of the cages to block out any other light.
