Sleep Tight My Precious Girl Ivy (8/7/18 to 12/19/21)

On December 19th we lost our precious girl Ivy. She was the momma to some of your babies out there. On the 18th her body looked swollen and we took her to the vet. There was no eggs but there seemed to be fluid like in her neck now in her body. Ivy had not laid any eggs since 2019. Ivy had some swelling in her neck for awhile and been to the vets several times for it. My one regular vet consults with my previous vet from the Keys, Dr. Doug Mader but they just could not figure out what was causing it and how to fix it. We did not send her body out for a necropsy since she passed the day before we left for Africa. I offen called her Momma Ivy and she is very sadly missed and will hold a special place in our hearts forever.
