At morning wen is a sunny day i let my chameleons bask at the Bonsai tops, they love it and turn the sides for exposure, this morning I almost have lost Alibaba the Yemen calyptratus, he jump, fly, or sky dive, the five feet from thew top of the tree to the floor. after that, he joust walk like nothing happen, lift him to check and everything was fine. is this a comon thing to do.

Supposedly them jumping like that is a defense mechanism. From what I have read they are capable of taking quite a fall.
