silkworm questions :)

have bn watching videos on raiseing silkworms just wanted to know what all kind of house hold foods they can eat or do they only eat mulburry leaves?

also do the moths fly? the videos never show them in flight. but I believe I read about them flying. also if anyone knows anything about breeding hornhorms let me know please.

They only eat mulberry leaves or a you can buy a silkworm chow (basically dried and powdered mulberry leaves) that you mix with water and microwave for a few minutes. Any of the sites selling silkworms sell the silkworm chow mix. It will keep in the fridge about a month after you've mixed it.

The moths don't fly and they don't eat... They live about a week, until they breed and lay eggs and then die.
