I have some silk worms that are getting very large. At what size do they normally spin a cocoon? I am wanting some to turn into moths. They are about 2 to 2.5 inches long right now.
"Size doesn't matter", atleast that's what my wife says anyways!
No seriously, I have some spin a cocoon and they are alot smaller than others. I find mine do after I reduce the feed when they get bigger and yes usually about a month or so!
