I have looked at the threads on raising silkworms, and it appears to be a feeder insect that you must provide new "Chow" or mulberry leaves every day. Would that be accurate? I have trips that put me out of the home for 2days, and would not want to raise silks if they cannot be left unattended for 2 days at a time.

not everyday..
just when the chow start to smell funky, you need to replace it.
Silkies can grovel their food quite fast too (not as fast as hornworms tho).
