Signs of Health Problems?

So I have a 3 month-old male Veiled chameleon . He is very (for a chmeleon) active and he I do not handle him often. I see him often eating nd drinking (he seems to only use his toungue for that though). I know that heat and things like that are fine, I asked in other posts. What I would like to know, is how to recognize if something is wrong. Are there signs? Sounds? Colours? I am worried, just in case there is a problem and I cannot see it. I also have a Senegal Chameleon, that is of an age around one year. He is not as active and takes more time to find the food, and does not drink often while I am watching.
The questions for the Senegal are the same.

So in the end,
Are there sings that show there is a problem? How about sings that show there is no problem? The species I am asking about are Veiled and Senegal

Not very active, dark color, eyes closed, runny poop, not pooping, not eating, falling, lumps or bumps on your chameleon, tongue sticking out, something sticking out of the vent, swollen spot or spots are just a few things I can think of at the moment that would be a few signs to look out for.
