Hello all,
I am new to the forum but I felt I had nowhere else to turn!
My little guy has been sick for weeks now, been to the vet twice and still he is not 100 %.
Info on him,
He is a 9 month old nosy be purchased from a reputable breeder online. I recieved him in Feb when he was 3 months old. He was tiny of course and I always thought he was on thr small side but that's not the major issue. He is in a screen enclosure ,low traffic area away from vents. two live plants misted at least 3 times a day, no substrate other then paper towels.. Reptisun 5.0 uvb. Basking lamp temp at 85 to 90 deg. Was eating mainly crickets sometimes mealworms dusted witg repcal with d3 Mon through thurs , herptivite Fridayandsat, sun no supplements. he was never a big eater from what I could see since I've purchased him but he was thriving and growing up until a long ago. It started with one eye closing, took him to vet was given eye drops, used those no success, then within days both eyes were closed limited activity since he could not see was still drinking water this whole time. Became stumbly, falling off cage and plants, not eating. Back to vet, prescribed baytril for possible infection still no improvement after a week of that. Did my own reseach and started to thonk he may have vit a deficieny. Pet store recommended force feeding repashy and giving some vit a as well. So ita been about 1 week he's been getting repashy mixed with his supplements and a tiny bit of vit a since large amounts can kill them. He now opens his eyes at times, still drinks water and ive even seen him lingering around his cup, I have placed dubias, tried hornworms in there still won't eat! What else can i do? Am i doing somwthing wrong! Any help is appreciated i dont want to see him go.
