One week ago we moved cage from one wall to another. Since then, every time I am close to the cage so he can see me, or open the door to handfeed him, he is running to me and want to run out the cage. He even get brighter colors when come in my hands.

I don't know, if I need to move the cage where it was before. He wan't eat like earlier if I offer him a cricket, just jump on my hand every time.

I did handled him a lot in last two months, because of eyes problem, but he is acting like he like to be out with us.
Is this weird?

Is he eating at all, or just when you open the cage door he wants out and wont eat? It is not unusual for them to want out of their cages! Mine does the same thing! Wouldn't you??

I wouldn't worry about it...he is eating and he is ok with you handling him so to me that is a good thing!

There are about 100 people on these forums that wish they had the issue you do. So many of us with Veileds are discussing how to get our little guys to come and crawl on us. You are trying to figure out how to stop it. So crazy how different the Panther and Veiled behave.

I am glad to hear he is eating and healthy. Have you thought about giving him a tree or hanging plant outside his enclosure to lounge in? Maybe you can just take him out and let him sit there from time to time.

I tried to get him out today :) He was totaly fricked out. He stayed on my hand holding very tight. I will try again another day. We still have issue with one eye that not sheeded and was stucked and now the skin is very thiny and sensitive. I am waiting labaratory test.
