Short shake?

I noticed for a while that when i go to get pedro he stiffens up and does a little quick 2 second shake.
I had my finger on him trying to coax him onto my hand and he did this shake again.
Ive never had him on my hand and actually had him do this.
So this time I felt something inside him bubble?
It was like a gurgle in his tummy.
I couldnt here it but I felt it.
Now pedros has always done this since ive gotten him but hes healthy
and Im not sure if this is normal or what?
Any ideas of what it could be?
And he doesnt do this all the time.
Just when i go to get him and he doesn't mind me picking him up.
He tolerates it now so i dont think it was a hiss or anything.

He probably 'buzzed' you! They communicate using vibrations and he's basically telling you that he doesn't like being held. Amy does a funny little shudder/shake thing (like a twitch) at me sometimes too! I have also heard her make a noise when she buzzed too, but it's kind of hard to describe! They also make a short, sharp 'Pfft'! sound too when not happy!

Sometime if I'm in a hurry and pick up my guys to fast they do the little shake. You've got to go REAL SLOW.

Some chams will vibrate when they are handled. It is an attempt to startle the "predator" that has just grabbed him (yes I know you didn't actually grab him, but instinct tells him to try anyway). Same thing as the little shake...some chams try to wobble and shake when disturbed so the intruder thinks they are just a leaf. He DOES mind being picked up, but he's not quite upset enough to threaten you.

Great to know lol.
I thought they might be siezures or something and his little heart was going crazy :c
And I was being very very slow picking him up.
I had my finger under there for like 2 minutes before he decided to latch on lol.
Im always slow with him but yea i know he does mind it xD
Thats why i say he tolerates it now c:
Im just his free ride to get to his little tree and back.
