shes digging...how long ?

Hi all ,please can yu give me advice
bugeeta started to dig her hole this morning.shes been digging about 2-3 hours.
she seems to go a long way in and down.how long should the digging take ?
also im a bit worried as last time the hole collapsed on her and we needed to dig her out ( as described in a previous thread )at the moment i sit and listen for the scraping sound , i dont go near her. how long should i wait

Ive had a female dig for a whole day. It depends on her pace.
She should be done soon though.
You can peak in sometimes just to make sure shes still fine, but dont let her see you.

It can take a few hours or it can take a couple of days for her to finish the hole and lay them. Let's hope it all goes well this time!

everything went well

It took 12 hours!! she Never stopped once to get a heat or anything.I dont know how many she laid yet but shes skinny and exhausted. shes had food and lots of water.

Congrats, it never gets any easier. It doesnt matter how many clutches youve bred everytime they start digging its a nervous, anxiety filled day or days. Glad it all worked out for you, and post an update on the # of eggs. Also were these fertile or infertiles?
