shedding

do they shed the whole body at once definately not like my iguana i was scared there was something wrong

sometimes they do a full body shed and sometimes they will shed in sections and on different days.

just make sure you have proper humidity and nutrition for easy sheds.

usually when they are smaller its a full shed...once they get bigger they sometimes just do partial sheds

mine is about 2.5 months old and he just did a full body shed, but there are still some pieces and his head still has shedded skin stuck on it. Any sugeestions? Bc I try spraying him down and that didnt work and I tried giving him a bath yesterday but he freaked out, tried using that shed ease when I did it but his stomach started shrinking and growing really fast so yea Im stuck

Are you using warm water? The only way Ozzie likes his spray baths is if I fill the spray bottle up with hot water and when it sprays out it cools off a bit but he likes his water warm. Ozzie is 5 months old now and just went through a full body shed today. If some skin gets left stuck on him I pull it off real gently.

I just gave him like a 30 min shower with warm water, but still no luck, I dont wanna pull off the skin on his head bc its on there pretty good and heard u didnt wanna do that. :/ I sprayed down his cage more too.... Im knew to this so im probly bugging out alot but I just wanna make sure so he dont get sick

Nah if you have some screen in your habitat he will rub it off on there. Oh I don't pull hard on Ozzies , only if the skin is really loose is when I help him just a bit

yea hes been trying to rub on branches and the screen but he cant get his forhead btw his eyes

Don't pull, some parts may take a couple of days. Keep trying the warm shower, he'll get the idea it makes him feel better

My 2 month old Veiled shed this morning. I woke up to find he had a white leg which made me think it was a partial shed. 5mins later he was completely white. He had ripped out of all of his skin like incredible hulk - twisted and puffing himself out. His viv looks like its been snowing.

I did two warm baths two days in a row And the second day brought him outside and let him sun bathe.... His head started peeling again hopefully by tomorrow it's all gone
