shedding?

how often should veileds shed because i can't remember the last time my female did. She is about 9 months and about 9 inches and is pretty fat.

There's no set schedule. They shed more often when young, less often when older. When young, they typically will shed full body, when old they will sometimes shed only parts at a time.

Do you have a laying bin ready for your young fat lady?

my 7 month old only sheds bits and pieces so it looks like he is always about to shed somewhere

My humidity is so spot on, that both my ambilobes will throw a full shed in about 4-6 hours, tip to tail. I usually find only 3-4 large pieces.

It would be nice if the adults shed in large chunks - it always looks like a snowstorm in my house when Lily sheds!! Have to brush my shoulders off before I go out otherwise people will think I've got a scalp condition!

Not now but I am getting right to it. I heard i can use play sand from home depot and slightly moisten it so they can dig tunnels. Also how big does the bin have to be and how deep?
