Don't pull on shed, it can damage their normal skin. You can up his mistings or put him in the shower (on a plant, the nozzle aimed at the wall so gentle mist goes on him) it'll come off on it's own.

Hi, Kmw...you'll find that mature chameleons, in particular, seem to leave bits of shed "for the next time"...it gets all white and ready to drop, but doesn't.
Oh thank you. I remember reading somewhere that unshed skin can be dangerous. Im sure it was meant for bigger chunks, possibly wrapped around legs/tails - that could lead to harm. But i just wanted to make sure!
