She fell again

She is a 1 1/2 month old veild cham. I have had her for about 2 weeks and in the last two days she has fallen 2. Should I be worried?

They are designed to take a fall in an emergency, but in saying that why was she falling?
How high did she fall from?
What happened the first time?

Maybe there's an underlying problem with something that could be fixed to help her out.

Honestly I dont know. I hear thunk and looked over and she looked around like wow what happened. Both times no one was near the cage or anything i was about 5 feet from her and she fell from about 3 ft both times.

Are her branches too wide to grip or too shiny? Or was she trying to escape from you? Amy used to just run whenever you looked at her - she still does only not so fast! They tend to just run blindly at that age when they are scared or trying ot escape. Amy ran off my hand not lon after I got her. She was fine but I felt so guilty! Falling from branches etc is an escape mechanism, and they inflate their lungs just before impact to cushion their fall. As long as she is acting normally and eating/drinking ok then she should be fine. Just make sure that she hasn't broken anything though. Are you dusting her food with supplements?

The new plant might be a little to big but her first fall that wasn't there. I was at my desk when I heard the thunk then went to the cage. She is getting all the supplements needed she is also getting natural sunlight and UVB bulb. Luckily the water catcher is wrapped in screen so it acted as a trampoline. She looked pretty cool on that second bounce.

Since she is about a month and a half old how long till she is egg bound?????

When they develop eggs depends on how she's being kept. However, 6 weeks is far too young for that to be a concern now. I think I've seen people say they can start to produce eggs as young as 4 months, but I think that's considered unusually young. I think it's recommended you have a laying bin in when they are 5 months.
