Sharp breath out when misted?

Ok, my new Cham has done this twice, when he is misted he make a sharp sighing noise, is this normal?

my male vield does the samething once in a while when i mist him, be puffs up and seems like he holds his breath for a little and makes sighing noise, i think its eather the water is to cold, he doesnt like to be misted or i am misting to fast for him to catch his breath. i would also like to know why he does that. doesnt sound like theres somthing wrong with him cause my other chams do that too, but i have never asked why he does that.

Its because the water is cold, try using warm water and it will stop.

If it's a short, sharp. 'Pfft!' sound then it's normal. They do it when they aren't happy with what you are doing, in this case, they don't appreciate the misting! As said above, sing warmer water that cools to room temp as the mist falls, will be much nicer for them! Nobody likes cold showers and chameleons are no exception!
