Try mite paper for ants
I bought mite paper for my incubating eggs that had mites. I read somewhere that it will work for ants too. I've placed a sheet under my crickets and silkies and dubias and haven't had any attacks even though I've seen them elsewhere in the room. I bought it at a dartfrog site, can't remember which one.
Last night was fun, ran into the wee hours! Lots of people and bugs and some gorgeous chams!
Steve, I saw the biggest bug ever run out from under my car in your parking lot last night, looked like a giant hisser with long legs, stood about an inch off the ground and ran about 20 miles and hour!

Sounds like a great night! My morning was crazy! Bought 1000 small crickets from Steve and this morning about 40 million ants attacked and killed them all
I just thought about this. I use Bounce fabric soft to stop ants. Give it a try. Just lay sheets down to stop entry.

Those are German roaches, heat must of had them all out last night. These are the guys you don't want in your house, or even 200 yards from it. Did you see any rats? When my son was little, we use to play count the homeless, and rats, on the way to freeway.

LOL! Dang Steve! What ever happened to "Slug Bug" or "Out of State"...
I am not sure if anyone else ended up finding out that the closest onramp for the 10 fwy was closed last night. Mika and I had fun driving around LA counting the Homeless and the Rats before we managed to jump on next to Staples Center.

No I didn't see any rats and only a few homeless. Thanks again for the hissers and banana roaches and crickets too.
I drove around looking for an on ramp too. At least you guys could get on at the car pool entrance! I saw 3 of those on ramps.

Thanks, Tylene for the roaches and Ryan for the generous amount of vented cloth lids and containers.
I'll try the mite paper and the Bounce fabric softener.
For now, I just put all my insects in the vented cloth container I got from Ryan.
no casualties since ants cannot get in.

Yeah, Sorry for all the freeway closures. I tried to hop on at two places, before saying screw it, and taking the HOV lane, over to the fast lane.

I almost ran over a rat on the way to the fwy.
Tylene, Dave was running around the parking lot trying to stomp on one of those roaches.

Someone was taking pictures. It'd be great if they posted them. The meeting was the biggest I've seen yet and it was almost an equal split between men and women. Very cool.

I did take some pics...But not as many as I was planning on. I was having too much fun I forgot to take a bunch of pics.
I know I got some of Kevin's (Summoner12) Mellers, as well as some pics of Nicole and her awesome Trans that she brought, along with her stunning Nosy Faly. I also got a really cool pic of Dsignerguy with his sweet Ambanja. Some of them came out a little fuzzy because it was inside, and I didn't want to freak any of the animals out with my flash. I will work on getting some of those posted tonight when I get home. Sorry for lagging.
