Senegal Health Crisis Please Advise

hey kin, no problem, i get what you mean

i am at work now, but before i left i noticed he had pooped two more small times during the night last night.........

hope he makes it till monday, even if its too late, i would like to know what is wrong with him

ill post poop pics when i get home

charlie vet appt

Well, got him in today to see a specialist.....brought what little poop charlie managed to get out over the weekend and he took blood......he thinks he is severely impacted by what his tummy felt like it had in it........he gave him a shot of b12, and told me a couple times a day to soak charlie in warm water, that it would act the same as a warm water enima does in humans and he would get back with me asap but he thinks this will do it.........charlie has pooped once since we got home, took him forever and i feel bad for him, but i guess there is hope

heyy im not sure if this is entirely true, i read it in a book. i heard that most senegal's arent captively bred. meaning there arent captive parents which produce captive children. i read that there either wild caught as juveniles to adults or the eggs are collected from dead mothers in the wild and then hatched in captivity.

improvement?

This afternoon he got a big "gunk" of poop out and he seems to be a little better, he is actually trying to climb again, i took alot of the vines, trees out that lead to the top, i wanna limit his climbing right now as he is still very weak, but hopefully his appetite will come back soon

Good news!
I assume the vet did a fecal float.
Have you removed the substrate from the enclosure?
Hopefully he will get himself cleaned out in a day or two and feel much better!
So glad you found a reptile specialist!!
