Yesterday al-Uzza (my little Veiled guy) passed away suddenly and with no warning. Right after my fiancee fed him he died in the process of shooting for his food. He had some issues when we first got him and he was on watered down steroids for a time, which makes me wonder if he had something like an aneurysm or stroke from blood clotting.
I miss him already and he has been buried next to 'Ngai so that little spirit al-Uzza and spirit 'Ngai can eat, climb, and hiss at eachother.
This has been quite draining for me and I think that I will keep myself to only Kiwi (my female Jacksons) for quite some time before I approach another chameleon.
