Scraches in Glass, help?

Hey, I got a 55gallon tank and it turns out it has some really nasty scraches. They aren't small scraches, but aren't deep ( deep enough to feel).

Anyone have any idea of how to work on glass? I'd really like to get them out as they are annoying the heck out of me.

Let me know if pics are needed. This is for a Display saltwater Tank.

It sounds pretty hard, but if it's a display tank, it might be worth it.
