Hey guys,
I am nearing graduation from high-school and am currently filling out scholarship applications for local scholarships. Most are not online so I am having to hand in physical papers and copies of essays.
Instead of just going through and filling out the apps that were given I was thinking about creating a universal "resume" of everything I have accomplished in high-school. I will fill out each scholarships main page and tear off the rest and just staple the resume I create on the back. ( Or just write in " see attached")
This method is acctually prefered to just writing in the all the data. NOW, my question is should I just do the traditional boring, outline or would yall think it would be appropriate to go all out and be extremely creative with it. Making it more eye catching ( but still easy to read)
here are some examples http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/creative-designer-resume-curriculum-vitae/
now, alot of those are hard to read, and probably would not make it past the first trial, but you get what I am going at. I have not done much ( compared to other classmates) as far as extracurricular, but I was thinking if I put alot of work into the resume that this will show how bad I want the scholarship and how much time I spent on it. Most of my extracurricular is reptile related as I have bred, and studied many species.
what are your thoughts????
