Schefflera

I think you should be ok.

Just make sure you get rid of the little white balls in the dirt and repot the plant with organic planting soil.

that belongs to the Schefflera actinophylla family.Schefflera arboricola family is the safe one i think. i have two diff an arboricola and a ‘Gold Capella’. he eats both and hasnt shown any sign of distress. he is an 8 month old male veiled. he eats a lot of hibiscus rosa too. "yes" the safe plant page here says the arboricola is the safer one.

For the most part, the slightly toxic plants are hard to be toxic to plant eaters unless they eat a LOT of them at once. It's like if you ate an apple seed. You'd need to eat a lot to experience the cyanide in them.

Thank you everyone for your help with this... Shylah is very happy in her new crib... just need to get her a few more climbing objects:)
