Santa Ana winds are drying things out....

I am having a hard time keeping Isa's cage humid. Misting as much as possible, but with the dry winds it's not helping much. Just to give you an example the average humidity outside has been 7% with 25mph winds. I can mist but it takes more than a litre to get the humidity in her cage to 50% and that quickly drops.

So does anyone have any tips to stabilize the humidity during this temporary weather pattern?

you can wrap up to 3 sides of your cage in plastic (ie shower curtain, trash bag, etc) to help hold in humidity and also offer proper ventilation...hope this helps

In Colorado it's always pretty dry, and that works for me. Two sides and a humidifier (plus good misting)

Hope that rain does come Friday . It's been bone dry for a week now, basically I'm sitting between the Tarmac of March Air Base and massive acres of orange groves, we get a wacked micro climate. I'm just trying to ensure when the full force of the Santa Ana's rear it's head that I can keep the girls happy. I lived with em for decades but I was at the beach then it's a tad bit different in the new house.

Thanks for everyones input.
