he should have brought him to a rescue place or sold him... I disagree with letting him go like that!

If my land lord came to me and said you have to leave if you dont get the chameleons out... I would have had my stuff packed there is no way I would give up any of my animals...That is CRAZY!!!!

Would you just up and leave your cham like that? I hope there is not a single person on this forum who would do that...

It's really not that bad... chameleons were born to be free. They have all the natural instincts that they need in order to sustain.

neverrrrr i would move or argue to the landlord or change his food you could just here the tone in his voice he is sad maybe he couldnt afford to live in another apartment

Obviously if you live in Colorado, like yourself or Canada, like myself, we wouldn't subject our chameleons to a habitat that they couldn't survive in. This cham in the vid was in its habitat so there isn't anything wrong with it.

if you love and care for the chameleon would you let it go and then not think about it if it were me i would be crying at every chameleon i see and captivity is so much better because we care, it could be eaten by a hawk have ticks and or parasites

All animals are born to be free... But you dont see CB lions being introduced into the wild or anyother CB animals being introduced into the wild because they get used having food availible at a certain time and are on a schedule. Plus The chameleon now will be introduced to parasites that are foreign to him because of being captive... I dont give him a fighting chance which is really really sad...

Even if I lived in Hawaii I would not let a CB jackson go in the wild. That is crazy to me that anyone would do that.....

Yes it was released into its natural habitat but its got to be hard for an animal thats used to being in captivity to be all the sudden released into the wild

Do you have any evidence that a CB chameleon could not sustain and survive in the wild? Chameleons are solitary .. it's not like they have to find a group of chameleons like a lion does. They eat, sleep, defend themselves, mate .. the majority of their change would most likely be the weather.

Parasites are introduced even in captivity so I don't know what you're talking about.

You are basing your opinions on emotions...

other videos state it. it is an unbalance of nature he is use to being hand fed he wont find silkworms in every corner

... ok .. but they 'hunt' in their enclosure, don't they? If they had bugs flying or crawling near them, they could use their tongue to get them ... why do you assume you know when you don't?

its pretty much impossible when i have my CB jacksons outside and flys and bugs walk by he cant adjust to there speed and cant react fast enough to catch it i assume i know everything pshhh
