My husband really wants a lizard, so this weekend we did some research and we're really interested in getting a rudis chameleon. We like them because they are not quite as large and they don't have a casque on their head. However, we can't find that much information or pictures of the differences between males and females. Hopefully someone can help! Here are some questions we have:
1. Is the shape of the body different between males and females? Some look round and fat and others look slender. Are males generally larger?
2. Are there differences in color between males and females? Some look brown and others are bright green.
3. Coloring in general - Can the same chameleon be brown one day and green the next? I know coloring depends on mood and other things... Are some rudis chameleons brown and others are green?
Thanks!
