round black spot - what could it be?

Hi,
A friend of mine has a cham with an odd spot. At first we thought it's a bruse, but I didn't disappear after a shed. It's been like this for around a month and seems to be only slightly smaller. Could it be a burn or maybe an infection?

PS. Sorry for not posting 'how to ask for help form', if it's necessary I will ask him to fill it out.

Hmmm... it seems like an odd place for a burn to occur, but that doesn't completely rule it out either. My initial response would be a bruise, and a shed would not make this go away if it was. However, I would expect a bruise to be going away by now. So, I can see my answer isn't going to help much . Hopefully some others will chime in soon ;).

Ive seen some bruises on chams take at least 2 months to disappear.

It is very dark for a bruise, and the skin doesnt look like a burn, or a fungus.

Thank you for your responses. I'm starting to think it's a bruise too. Since it was slightly bigger and seems to be disappearing.

For a month now.

Isn't he gorgeous? He is faly x suarez cross :)

i agree i might just be a beauty mark. if youre still worried though take him to a good reptile vet so you can know for sure.
