He just started throwing up and passed he must of had some sort of disease the vet wasn't aware of by sight. He was alive and out and about this morning it just happened ! He was doing so good.. I can't even stop crying :'(

i am so sorry Tiffany... i really thought he was doing so much better and i was so happy for the both of you. im really sad to hear this you did everything you could and that was the best he could have asked for and more.. sometimes are are just things we arent aware of that take away our beloved friends and its heartbreaking... again i am so sorry you lost him! you gave him a great and loving home for the time he had and you are a wonderful person for that!!!

Thanks that means so much, I am so lost for words.. I can't even fathom what happened. Something internally got him and my heart aches so bad. He seemed to be doing so good I don't think I could ever handle taking in another rescue ... My heart is shattered. I loved him so much and he was all sweet and cuddly this morning... It happened in an instant. He passed in Anthony's hands.. He tried CPR and everything... And an instant I mean got sick... He suffered for 30 minutes in our caring arms. It was horrible..

What sad news.. so sorry to hear. Take comfort in knowing you did your best and in the time you had him you got to know how sweet and gentle he was and know that in his own way he loved you too and was thankful for you and all you did for him. I think animals know our hearts and show us in ways without words that we belong together. Thank you for doing everything you could for him.

RIP Rex. I'm truly sorry to be reading this. My verru, Chazam, passed suddenly with no visible problems. Walking billboard of great health. I say this to say that these animals are so delicate. They hide their ailments very well. Again, I'm sorry.

Thanks for all the kind words. I spent hours just bawling again today, I can't sleep or eat. This is hitting me harder then any other death I've experienced. I keep staring at my veiled in fear praying he stays a healthy little man for years.

Oh I am so sorry to see this! This is the hardest part about rescuing. They can go downhill so fast and so unexpectedly despite everything that you do. You did so much for Rex and gave him the best chance. So sorry for your loss.

We believe the main cause was a puncture to some organ. The poor guy had two puncture wounds which were a result of a pit bull the previous owner had.
